  2. William Read of Hardwick Bredon Worcesershire, gent

Witness that for £1000 -

ALL THAT MESSUAGE or Tenement with Malthouse, Stable, Garden and Premises thereto adjoining and belonging – situate in Tewkesbury in a certain street there called the High street – heretofore in the occupation of Thomas Pensam but now of Benjamin Holland and said Henry Welling having:-

Messuage or Tenement of said Henry Welling on North and Messuage late of William Randle now in occupation of Richard Warder on South – extending in length from said Street on forepart to a field there called the Oldbury Field on the hinder part.

To Have and to Hold to William Read subject to Proviso of redemption to pay on 24th February next £1000 with Interest

Henry Welling to insure premises with Phoenix Fire Office London in the sum of £1050 or upwards and keep insurance until mortgage paid.
