Indenture of Lease made 1st day of June 1708 between:-

  1. Thomas Durnford of Tewkesbury glassegrinder and Anne his wife AND William Ridler of Chalford als Chanford parish of Stroude Glos. Clothier and Mary his wife
  2. William Sloper of Cheltenham gent

For 5s-0d paid by William Sloper to Thomas Durnford and William Ridler – they have granted:-

ALL THOSE THEIR MESSUAGES, dwelling houses or tenements situate in Tewkesbury in or near to a certain street there called the KEY LANE and now or late in the several tenures of:- William Porter; Richard Fletcher; the said Thomas Durnford; Ralph Jones; William Haines and Richard Harrison – or in the tenure of said Thomas Durnford and Anne his wife or of William Ridler and Mary his wife or some of them or their tenants or undertenants

AND ALL THOSE THEIR OTHER MESSUAGES, dwelling houses or tenements situate in Tewkesbury in or near to the High Street and Key Lane now or late in the occupation of William Man; Thomas Edwards; [blank] Bassett; Patronella Fisher widow; Thomas Estopp and William Key – or in the tenure of said Thomas Durnford and Anne his wife or of William Ridler and Mary his wife or some of them or their tenants or undertenants
