Dear Bill

I write to advise you that your sale of 117 / 118 High street has duly been completed. I enclose herewith a completion statement. The deposit of £6100 was paid into Barclays Bank, Tewkesbury on 20th September, 1983 and I have now sent the balance of £54000 also to the bank, with the instructions that after repayment of your overdraft £500 should be retained in your current account and the balance placed on deposit. I have received payment of my legal costs and Messrs Lear and Son's fees from Mrs Priestley's solicitors.

I understand from Mr Smith that you would like to retain some of the old parchment deeds relating to the property. I therefore enclose herewith some 19th century deeds which I think will be of interest to you. Would you please sign and return one of the schedules in the enclosed stamped addressed envelope

I am pleased to have been of assistance to you in this matter.

Yours Sincerely

Nick
