Attested Copy of Release of a Legacy charged on Real Estate dated 11th July 1760 –

Henry Welsh to Samuel Welsh

WHEREAS Sarah Welsh late of Tewkesbury widow deceased did in her Will dated 21st October 1758 – wherein she is called Sarah Welsh but signed by her as Welch – gave her son Henry Welsh now of Tewkesbury yeoman £100 and directed same should be paid by her son Samuel of Tewkesbury, Maltster within 12 months after her decease 

And said testatrix gave her son Samuel – All the rest and residue not therein before bequeathed to hold to him subject and chargeable with payment of her just debts and legacies and appointed Samuel her executor and Samuel proved Will at Gloucester

Now these presents witnesseth that £100 paid to Henry Welsh by Samuel Welsh in full

satisfaction of his legacy.
