(12) Will of Richard Screen – 27th February 1805 (proved 1806)

This is the last Will and Testament of me Richard Screen of Tewkesbury in the county of Gloucester hosier

I give devise and bequeath unto my dear wife Ann her heirs executors and administrators and assigns forever

All my Messuages, Lands, Tenements and Hereditaments and all my money goods chattels effects and personal effects whatsoever – Subject and Chargeable with the payments of my debts funeral and testamentary expenses and of £”0 to my Brother James and £10 to my Sister Elizabeth within six calendar months next after my decease And of a further sum of £50 to my said brother James and £20 to my said Sister Elizabeth within six calendar months next after the decease of my said wife

I appoint my said wife sole executrix of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made

In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and Seal this 27th February 1805 Signed Richard Screen Witnesses: Samuel Trueman; William Smith; Thom as Bassett

Proved Gloucester – 22nd January 1806 by Ann Screen widow and sole executrix

Note attached dated 22nd June 1831

The charge of the Testator ‘s Real and Personal estate with the payment of unscheduled debts as well as legacies renders it unnecessary to see to the payment of the latter (Co. Litt. 290 b. u. 14) though at this distance of time the Law would in any case presume the [payment
