How To Buy THS Publications
For UK based buyers you may prefer to contact John Dixon direct at president@tewkesburyhistory.org and we will give you a discounted price to pay as we will not incur PayPal costs.
Otherwise, the easiest method of buying, especially for overseas customers, is to use the well known payment service PayPal via our SHOP.
[If what you are looking for does not appear in the Shop, contact John Dixon on president@tewkesburyhistory.org who may be able to supply it to you in some form.]
If you wish to use other methods of payment - write to THS, 5 Stokes Court, Oldbury Road, Tewkesbury, GL20 5JL, United Kingdom enclosing one of the following:
- A cheque drawn in UK £ Sterling payable to T.H.S.
- UK Postal Orders.
- Sterling travellers' cheques made payable to T.H.S. (Please make sure that you sign it both top & bottom.)
- A cheque drawn in your own non-UK currency. (However, the Society incurs bank charges if the cheque is not in £ Sterling. Therefore, if you wish to pay in a foreign currency, please add the equivalent of £5 sterling to cover our additional costs.)
The prices shown in our 'Shop' all include postage and packaging. To post outside of the UK we will use air-mail unless otherwise directed.
Bulletins and some other THS publications are also available for sale in Tewkesbury at Alison's Bookshop, who offer a postal service.
For some of our publications, we give you the option of having a digital copy rather than the traditional printed book. The digital copy will be in the form of a PDF File (Adobe Portable Document Format). If you do not already have a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, you can download it free of charge from Adobe Systems' website. Click on Acrobat Reader to visit their website to download.
[When you purchase from our 'shop', PayPal will confirm your order, then we will be in touch soon after, via email, with physical/digital delivery details.]
Publications out of print:
It is Society policy that when a publication is sold out, we shall not reprint it but offer it in digital format in two ways:
Bulletins 1-13 individual articles
Bulletins 14-30 whole Bulletins or individual articles
[If an out of print Bulletin is selected from the Bulletins webpage, it will display as unavailable in the Shop with a £0 price.]
