This is to certify that on 25th September 1879 Robert John Brookes and Edmund Kendall, two of the personal commissioners appointed for the County of Gloucester for taking acknowledgement of Deeds by married women

Eleanor Mary Gillman, wife of Edward Gillman of Stow on the Wold, bank cashier produced an Indenture dated 25th September 1879 made between:-

  1. Edward Gillman and Eleanor Mary his wife
  2. William Evans and Charles Weston Hayward
  3. Thomas Raynsford

We the commissioners acknowledge and certify that the said Eleanor Mary Gillman was at the time of the said Deed – of full age and competent of understanding and that she was examined by us apart from her husband
