(b) 1857 Conveyance – Thomas Weaver and Benjamin Thomas Moore to Thomas Davis

Indenture dated 6th January 1857 between:-

  1. Thomas Weaver and Benjamin Thomas Moore
  2. Thomas Davis

Whereas by Indenture dated 13th October 1856 between:-

  1. William Dowdeswell
  2. Sir Christopher William Bethell Codrington bart
  3. said Thomas Weaver and said Benjamin Thomas Moore

The messuage and outbuildings hereinafter described was conveyed to Thomas Weaver and Benjamin Thomas Moore forever

And Whereas - Thomas Weaver and Benjamin Thomas Moore sold by auction at “The Anchor” on 20th October last [1856] and said Thomas Davis was highest bidder – for £150

Schedule:-

9th July 1828 – attested copy of release [giving William Dowdeswell right to sell on request of Sir 1st tenant for life]

13th October 1856 – Indenture of this date hereinbefore recited
