April 17th 1782 James Kedwards agrees and Mr George Vernon on behalf of himself and Mr Charles Embury consents that the latter shall attorned tenants to Mrs Lye for the Malthouse they rent of said James Kedwards at £11 per annumhalf a years rent of which is now due but at Michaelmas next the rent to be reduced to £10 per annum in consideration of tenants building a new Kiln, 

Kedwards likewise consents to pay 5% in future. It appears by Mrs Jones's receipts that the principal is only £155 but by the mortgage it appears to be £195 at £4-5s-0d in the £100 interest (4¼%)
